Benefits hugely from a lack of Steph.Which means the focus isn't on how Ringo died, aside from whether or not it's Kate's fault, but more the fact that he is dead.Donna seems more like herself:Not withdrawn, not blaming herself, just sad.The little scene of Cat coming in to see her, and how it allows her to admit the truth, is beautifully done.The scenes between her and Andrew should be great but they fall short a bit, which is probably the fault of the writing.
Declan's, sadly brief, offer of comfort to Kate is rather nice.She also has a good scene with Paul, who makes some pretty good points.Karl finally breaking down is brilliantly written.And Kate and Donna have a decent chat, which for a bit seemed unlikely.
Sonya's fear of birds is a nice moment of comedy in the middle of all the drama.Only odd note is Andrew's comment to Summer at the end.Fine, blame Steph but why stop being friends with Summer because of it?
