This movie has no fortune...

Warning: Spoilers
This is a romantic comedy or a comedy where the humor is crap and all the characters are very very dislikable. I could read the fortune for this flick just few minutes in. I am not sure if it's because I find fortune telling and tarot card readings to be bogus. But everything about this comes of dumb and sometimes I enjoy dumb comedies but this one goes in a dumb way where the character become dislikable. Even the main protagonist's friends are not even likable either and give bogus advices. Which most friends do in romantic comedies but it's just straightforward dumb to the point even a 12yr old would think it's dumb advices. So the plot is about a fortune teller like what Miss Cleo use to do except the protagonist by the name of Tae-Rang played by Park Yeh-Jin(she is not a good actress) meets her clients face to face. And she is suppose to be this pretty and successful fortune teller in this. And she never been in a deep relationship before. But one day she gets a reading that says she is going to meet her soul-mate. And it directs to a guy who is the epitome of a loser and starts off very unlikable as well. Because mainly the birth date matched the telling. So yeah he is a loser that is also very arrogant and fool of himself. And is played by Lim Chang Jung who takes on the role of a loser character again. But he is tough though when taking damage and is straightforward and honest for the most part. Since Tae-Rang firmly believe in fortune telling although she is a fortune teller. I guess there is a first for everything. She initiates by asking him out on a date. But than her first love gets involved with her by accident as well who is this wealthy and successful guy that has manners but comes off a bit greasy. The chance of the loser winning is higher so I guess that makes him not an entire loser. Because since they have to give the loser a fighting chance and if the rich guy wins at the end. Than the build up would be pointless, unless the loser makes a great sacrifice at the end. Plus you can tell who the character is going to end up with by how many times they fight in the movie or dramas. Cause apparently writers for these types of movies has it where whoever fights the most with the other person will end up with that person. But yeah there are exceptions to these rules in movies and dramas. Anyways the story goes on from there. The thing is this movie is about 2 hours but felt long as a 10 episode drama or something. Because I easily got bored with it just few minutes in. The reason I gives this movie a 3.8/10 is because I chuckled once or twice I think and I seen worse romantic comedies. Plus I kinda liked how the last 30 minutes played out although it went exactly how I expected and it was done pretty darn quickly.

3.8/10
