Enter Neil who is part of the Angelics. He explains to Paul about the Fades. The spirits of the dead who cannot ascend and are left behind.
Trapped on earth, they are now becoming malevolent.
The Fades acquired a cult reputation and was writer Jack Throne's initial foray into sci-fi/fantasy/horror. It is also notable of an early main role for Oscar winner Daniel Kaluuya.
The opening episode does well in establishing the main characters well played by De Caestecker and Kaluuya. T also swiftly deals with the main plot, the exposition given by Neil.
