A captivating story, worth the time for avid to non-baseball fans. A great overview of the culture, environment, growth, and times of black baseball in Indiana. The insight by former players provides unique insight as every month another player from the Negro Leagues passes away. This might be one of the last films to capture their story. The pacing and look of the film brings the past to life in stunning HD. This film provides just enough history and background information to allow the audience to discovery the emotional hardships on their own. This isn't a pity story, but one of triumph even without recognition. It is amazing that an untold story such as this hasn't been uncovered before. The stories and human connections are universal. A true joy to watch.
