Madison is away in Paris and so sets Alexa up with a new data analyst, Beth. Of course, Alexa treats Beth and her own cranky pants way, but when Beth cracks the same exact joke to her as she(Alexa) did to Harry, she has a second look. I read the reason for this is because of covid. It sidelined the actress that plays Madison so they had to quickly come up with an idea to fill in that void. Enter Beth. I really love Beth. She's cute and charming. I guess she was so well-received they kept her for more episodes. This doesn't take away from Mads. I love the pairing-up those two do in later episodes. Beth has great camaraderie with Alexa as well.
Jack, one of the suspects is a narcissist and that's his downfall. He thinks Alexa is interested in him in a romantic way. It's funny because Alexa says all this negative stuff about him to Beth. Lol.
