This episode of Dear Edward is a character-focused one, focusing on Edward, who broke a piano at school and asked why he did so. We will walk through each character and their narrative in this episode, starting with Edward. Edward's response was that he wanted to hear what it sounded like. Edward escapes the school and returns home to find Linda in pain. He goes to the ambulance with her and relives the traumatic event of the plane crash, remembering Jordan and his parents. Edward finds a box of letters addressed to him, all addressed as "Dear Edward". These letters are emotionally heavy and not something someone as young as Edward should be on the receiving end of. This scene shows just how little Edward has recovered from everything that happened, and he has a long way to go. Colin O'Brien deserves an Emmy for his performance as Edward, and that's certain after Dear Edward Episode 9. The most important details in this text are that Adriana and Kojo have been a couple since the very first episode of Dear Edward. Their relationship has been wholesome, but their paths are now different. Kojo is heading back to Ghana while Adriana prepares for the election. The airport scene was perfect for the pair, and their goodbye was one of the most tender moments of the series. Despite their differences, their love won't keep them apart for too long. Adriana and Adriana's storyline could take multiple routes, but we're hoping that they end up together. Adriana is a complex character who has a lot to figure out in terms of who she is and where she belongs, and hopefully, she figures that out before it's too late. Sam and Sienna's relationship is in a grey area of sorts, especially when Sienna found the not-so-appropriate texts on Sam's phone. We are glad this conversation is happening in Dear Edward Episode 9, as it allows us to move on and hope for a happy ending. The most important details in this text are that Sienna loves Sam, but right now, the ball is in Sam's court. He has a lot to figure out for himself and his relationship, especially in terms of his sexuality and what or whom he wants ultimately. Vernon might make another appearance in the next episode, which could indicate the end of Sam and Sienna. Frankly, we haven't been rooting for this couple because Sam might love her, but it doesn't look like he's in love with her. Dee Dee is upset about the end of her support group and decides to throw a goodbye party. In Dear Edward Episode 9, she doesn't get as much screen time as she usually does, but her presence is still felt. Connie Britton has the power to make her presence felt. We will have to wait another week to see her party planning skills.
