Bye Barb
ZegMaarJus23 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This Episode begins with Kathy, she gives her opinion about a new singer at the bath house. Fran visited Kathy for a job. Barbara fainted in front of Patrick his eyes. Patrick fights with Big Daddy. Barbara returned back home, Patrick thinks that this is not a good plan. Gino finally got out of the hospital. Gino visits Kathy, she is also a fortune teller. Gino leaves after a bad fortune teller session. Barbara got strangled to death in the shower. Patrick found Barbara her dead body in the shower, he cries. Cameron and Daniel have been ubducted by Whitely. Solid Episode of American Horror Story Season 11, this Season is developing into a better one than the first look of it. Solid but this does not feel like a Season of AHS!

Everything is starting to come together

Warning: Spoilers
As the season continues, my mind has started to decipher the clues as to who is who.

Whiteley is clearly the killer that has been abducting and mutilating some of the victims in the city.

Big Daddy, on the other hand, is only seen by some, not by others. As the show has progressed, I am starting to think of him as the manifestation of the AIDS virus. Only people with the rash can see him. When he was standing outside Sam's apartment, he couldn't see him but a few others (like Stuart) could see him.

Also, at the park, Fran didn't see him (not infected) but Hannah was frightened by him (infected).

Another weird detail is that Big Daddy was hiding in the closet at Barbara's place, where Patrick hid his secret for so long. In the end, the virus was contracted by Barbara anyways and Big Daddy got another victim.

I also think that his morning star weapon used by Big Daddy symbolizes a virus (seen enough pics of them spiky orbs over the last few years).

I can only assume that the other people going missing in the city are victims of the virus and that their "disappearance" is some kind of symbol of the gay community deaths being swept under the rug.

We'll see... the season is actually coming together nicely.

Now converge
harry-345183 November 2022
All of our plot lines are starting to converge and it is glorious. I really loved this episodes mystic vibe, we get to focus more on Fran, Hannah, Adam and Kathy and the episode benefits greatly from this. Getting to spend valuable time with these characters fleshes out the story and in turn makes the audience more invested. This episode also focuses more on the disease aspect of the season allowing us as the audience to feel a sense of impending doom because by the rate it's spreading I'd be shocked if anyone makes it out of this one alive. Our lead killer has a small role In this episode but his scene at the end was amazing the actor does such a good job of just being so naturally Terrifying. I'm not sure about the big reveal at the end but I'm open to it and am excited to see what happens with it.

Jeff Hiller & Leslie Grossman
FilmBrat1054 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I'm quite disappointed we've lost Leslie Grossman so soon, but I guess she's had a lot of screen time and fun stuff to work with the last couple of seasons so it's her turn to be on the back-burner here. Jeff Hiller is superb as Mr. Whitely and I hope we get him for the rest of the season, though judging by his absence in the opening credits I'm guessing we won't. Then again, Leslie is in the opening credits so who knows. Either way, I'm fascinated by Jeff's performance and I'd like to see him back in future seasons. The tarot cards & fortune telling was fun and a little unsettling, whether or not it acted as filler doesn't really matter to me because of how entertaining it was, that being said, I hope (and expect) it to come back into play later on.

S11.E5 - Pretty Good [7.6/10]
panagiotis199330 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
(S11. E5) My Live Reaction / Review for American Horror Story Season 11 Episode 5 ''Bad Fortune''. Episode 4 was good and I gave it a rating of 8/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. The virus keep infecting more and more people. The killer is inside Patrick's ex wife's house? What the hell he is doing there? Whitely is a nurse or something? Interesting. Adam thinks that death is coming because of these tarot readings? That's funny. So many tarot readings in one episode. Gino got really scared because of it. It seems like death is coming for many characters according to these readings, interesting. The killer killed Patrick's ex wife? I didn't see that coming. Why kill her though? I thought that he targets gay men. Overall a pretty decent episode, my rating is 7.6/10.
