Young Mix Cellini is renting the top floor flat from spinster Gwendolyn. Mix is haunted by his obsession with John Reginald Christie.
It's a wonderful book, one I really did enjoy, I think they did an excellent job in bringing this dark mystery to life.
It's a great first episode, it's a mystery within a mystery, crimes new and old, with the shadow of Christie hanging over everyone.
Elarica Johnson who plays Nerissa, she's excellent, and so beautiful, she'd play a similar part in Strike some years later. Star of the show though is Like Treadaway, he is so good, Mix is a nightmare character, not someone you'd want to bump into.
A cracking start, 8/10.
