Super Foxes

Warning: Spoilers
We are not going to get Netflix or Showtime kind of shows on a broadcast network anytime soon, but I feel like a program in the area of Big Sky is trying to give us a more intense vibe than we usually get.

I wish there were a few more deaths to make the whole murderous family vibe seem more dangerous and impactful, but we have seen a few victims so there is something there.

I just think the band of country music stars this season is not creating the most credible group of monsters out there.

Looking forward to seeing how it all ends, but I won't go out and say it is peaking at the right time.

Best Season Yet

In spite of ABC only picking up 13 episodes this season, the writers room has provided fans with a solid story line and well paced suspense.

Season three is a big improvement on season two and that "win" belongs not only to the writers but also the support cast. Reba brought in as stunt casting, to sweep the field in a great performance.

Jensen Ackles brought in for his turn--don't be a fool and take the loser route, network, bring back both BS and Ackles himself.

The episode last night ratcheted the tension up a notch. We know how protective Beau is of his daughter. And that ending, though.

I don't really like any leaning in to the little family getting back together, but I don't hate Carla, so if that's what we need to support, I'll get on board.

The sad thing is only two more episodes left this year.

Hope we have big plans for next year, not a fail.

Great episode

I love this twisty little show that really has come into its own this season. It took awhile for the "case of the week" format to gel and some were clearly better than others. This one was an absolute jewel. Legitimately scary deliverance America subplot dovetailed nicely with the activities if the three grifters as the serial killer plot barrels forward and the tension ratchets up. I can't say enough about Ryan O's writing: so inventive and out there while remaining dead on true to the stories he crafts. Cornhole duel to the death? Absolutely. Donno breeding foxes? Of course. Buck offering his Vic a drink while he does the villain monologue and tries to keep Sunny under control? Classic. Loved it all.
