Iris Is A Funeral Flower
douglasmcbroom12 March 2023
Will someone please put a bullet in Iris's head?

I am sick to death how Iris (Emma Laird), who is as inconsequential a character as any in this otherwise excellent series, keeps winding up at the center of important happenings. And, how a street-smart guy like Mike has let this career hustler into his life. Mike (Jeremy Renner) says he wants to get Iris out of Kingstown and away from Milo (Aiden Gillen). Well, he already did that and Miss Iris walked away from that situation and right back to Milo.

In yet another short episode (36 minutes), Mike cuts a huge deal with Milo that concerns Iris. Bunny (Tobi Bamtefa) gets some carry out.

It's The Mayor v The King!

Another Day of Mayhem, Strife and Criminality....
jamdub-6193414 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
...in a ghost town! In some of the closeups of Jeremy Renner his eyes seem to be searching for a script. The idea that this woman Mike barely knows is worth 14 miliion to him is utter nonsense. Some of the criminality, like breaking into a gun store without masks, then after the crime destroying the cameras is unreal. And again, the city streets and buildings never have people on them or in them. What kind of city is this? I chuckled when the lawyer said if she's elected DA she's gonna squash Mike's criminal activity. Who's gonna vote in that city?

This series had potential but it's seems under funded from a production standpoint and out of ideas from a creative standpoint. Seems they're counting on the big names and acting to carry the day. Only works for a few episodes before you begin to wonder if you should be watching something else.

Losing interest Warning: Spoilers
This show is losing interest... first season had me gripping my seat and I couldnt wait for the week's release. This season started off amazing too. The last 3 episodes are lost me. Too many more characters.. too many little stories... too many big stories that have lost their importance and have dwindled off. Milo and Iris were a huge part of season 1. We still know hardly anything about them as Season 2 is coming to a close. I dont care about them anymore.. Ive lost interest. And Terry's wife came out of nowhere!! No character buildup at all so it felt rushed. My husband and I discussed how this show is starting to feel like a cluster mess and it's sad because the cast is AMAZING and the acting is too. Writers need to get it together!! Pull the stories in and keep it moving please!! You're spreading yourselves too thin to where nothing is going to come together and get resolved.
