Stunning

In a lonely world, Death and Robot find a way to work together to bring life back into their lives.

It is an absolutely stunning piece of stop-motion animation. Both Death and Robot are so life like, that you almost forget that they aren't even human to begin with.

The story forces you to hold a mirror up to yourself and examine your own happiness. As the characters make decisions in their paths to true happiness and meaning, you cant help but bring those sentiments over into your own experience.

The companionship in this film is not only beautiful, but breathtakingly tragic. But its not without a theme of hope. Hope that one person can make a difference. Hope that their experience can meaningful, not only to themselves, but to the world.

It is a short animation like a song- long time after its end, the memories are fresh . The motifs are many, from the inspired use of stop-motion , keeping a sort of realism, to the message and admirable simplicity. A robot and its hidded garden. The loneliness of death. A special friendship after a visit changing the cemetery and not only. And a powerful legacy and its magnificent fruits.A student project who represents more, in brilliant manner, with lovely effect.
