I dont know if i got the hole point of the episode, from what i can understand it should be bad and lacking sense and story. These is a spit in the face to the stupid and without meaning storys that Hollywood is spitting out no pun intended. The story has a basic plot weird choices, weird character drives for their actions, no real back story and so on. So basically every movie now a days. So this Rick and Morty delivers all that is bad in american cinema and bad writing that rules it. This was hard to watch was meaningles had all to many easter eggs to many references and every plot twist you can imagine literary in a couple of seconds. So this episodes succeeded in being bad and the rating also confirms this. Everyone that has watch this please give it a bad rating and give the writers some sense of accomplishment, i really hope this was their intent.

Yeah this wasn't even that bad. It isn't one of the better episodes of the series, but I always feel annoyed when people say the newest episode of R&M is "a new low". Thai series isn't as good or as consistent as it use to be, sure, but my buddies and I are still enjoying it. We finished this season last week and are still quoting it to each other.
I have indeed seen Total Recall and I must admit this did sort of feel like that original movie at times with the character designs and the ridiculous cheese. I thought it was a pretty decent episodes, with some genuine laughs and really solid voice work. A few jokes didn't quite land, but that'll happen.
I don't really have much more to say. It's fine!

Well they can't all be winners but at least this isn't as painful as the Obama one. It's definitely a step down in quality, back to the "is this someone's fanfic?" level of writing. That has been popping up far too often.
It starts off well showcasing Summer's ongoing social anxiety about her place in the teenage pecking order. The implication that Rick sees her resemblance to Diane's personality is interesting and suggests that we need more episodes where Summer replaces Morty as Rick's sidekick.
But really they just need to find a way to capitalize on the comedy potential of Summer and Morty's sibling rivalry. This one wasn't horrible and at they're not having babies together - shudder - but they can do better.

This episode is rather odd because I don't even remember the name Kuatro. Morty and Summer fight over a wrist watch that increases or decreases its wearer's intelligence, charisma, etc. They fall into a pool and merge with a shout-out to the movie "Total Recall". Kuatro Morty is removed from Summer's body and she works with Rick to rescue Morty. Hey, we get to see the scene from the intro where strong Summer lifts up Rick! I know that Beth and Space Beth scene won't ever happen.
I really thought it was cool how Summer learned how to form a psychic link with Morty. It's great to have some big sister instinct from her. Morty even acts pretty cool in this. This episode was completely stand-alone and that's just fine. It could have used some more jokes or action scenes, but still good. It wasn't too obscene. ***

I gotta be honest, the first couple of minutes were amazing. Reminded me of season 2. But from the moment the 'kuato' appeared out of the pool, the episode just got, well... weird. And as the episode passed it just became less funny and kind of annoying.
There have been some bad episodes in Rick and Morty, and I've watched them all multiple times. But this was the first episode that I just wanted to stop watching. It felt like an hour. And I'll probably not watch it again forever.
All in all, I'd rate it a 4 because the beginning was awesome, and it had some funny moments, like Rick beating everyone up with his bare hands.

I was apprehensive about the whole new voice thing with this season, but it's proved to be an absolute banger so far, short of the first episode...
Having seen total recall loooong ago (not the remake). I honestly laughed more through this one than any episode in the last 2 seasons. The "Open Your Miiiind..." never got old, if you understood that he was actually trying to communicate, but it's all he could rattle off... It makes me laugh while I'm typing this.
The writers are on point with the dumb jokes that make this show, and the after episode shorts. I don't even hear the difference between the voice actors anymore, and anybody that does is probably still complaining about Korvo in the Solar Opposites.
I say keep up the good work, ignore the haters that can't get over a bad egg getting replaced, and down vote everything to oblivion out of pure spite.
All I really have to say about that is "Open your mind........!"

Genuinely the worst rick and morty episode i have ever watched. Worst story of a rick and morty episode yet .Ive never seen an episode that didn't make me chuckle at least once. I chuckled zero times. At some points there were actual teen titans go jokes being thrown out but sometimes teen titans go is funny this was not. Example. "Quato knife!". And the most meaningless rick respecting summer moment because she reminds him of his wife wow the cringe. That made me want to die. The way the writers destroyed everything that made rick cool also makes me want to die this show needs to be cancelled so i dont have to witness this embarrassing hopefully last season. Only way this show can be saved is if justin roiland returns because he is the one who brang the show toghter. His delivery of jokes cant be replicated, these new voice actors are beyond horrid and its a literal parody.

One on side I am really flashed by the episode because, the humor and the way they connected so many Hollywood movies, charakters and movie plots within the episode is 10/10. There were so many well written and connected jokes you wouldn't think of. But the story is really missing. I would say it's a classic Rick and Morty episode but the end is really meeehh. You've hit the feeling it's missing something. But you have to admit that this episode plays after Umorticken(s7ep5) wich is the best episode ever. I think replacet in season 5 this would be a 10/10 episode(season 5 is the worst). I think a episode wich grab the past and present a little more of a preview that Rick prime isn't dead would be better.

It had to be one of the worst episodes of the entire series. It honest to god felt like I was watching a episode from an alternate reality where Kathleen Kennedy oversees the show.
Story was as dry as the turkey I had this thanksgiving. While the Rick and Morty feel was there, it felt like it was just a reskin of a modern Marvel spinoff. I did like the return to normal highschooler lives of Morty and Summer that it had at the start with the party, however that was quickly ruined when the rest of the episode got on with it.
IDC for the classic "Rick and Morty Adventures" and I was always supportive for where this show was heading even when it took a few wrong turns, but I worry that this episode marks the step back into the wrong direction.
P. S you guys should intentionally do a episode on marvel spinoffs, maybe another vindicators episode?

I watched this episode on lunch and really lost my appetite, so I stopped it. I've watched the rest of the episode on dinner, but it made me uncomfortable again. The episode, the story, the visuals.. Everything was so bad and ugly.
In my opinion, this was the worst episode ever! Also the new voice actors are very bad.
I think they can not do the show without it's main story and purpose, so anything from here on will be worse and worse.
I respect everything creators did in the last years, but honestly, this show must stop. We are going to witness another GoT last season and that is the worst thing that can happen to Rick and Morty.

The episode begins with a pretty interesting concept. Controling your abilities like strength or charisma, like in RPGs.
As soon as the episode gets "meta" and tries to make fun of those people, that wanted to explore more of such an idea, it goes down and breaks through the floor.
Being meta is not as funny and new as the writers seem to think.
The episode is not only breaking the uprising of the show by the last two episodes, its also not funny and really really boring.
I created an imdb-account out of frustration. And there's gonna be another break before I can continue to watch the show (over the last seasons there'd been a few episodes that made me so frustrated and that made me cringe so hard, I had to stop watching).
