Nigeria's fast and furious
exceladeogun26 January 2024
"Merry Men 3: Nemesis" disappoints with a confusing plot and lackluster performances. The film features a cat-and-mouse chase between friends turned foes, Dafe and Ayo, but struggles with poorly executed action sequences and an unconvincing revenge motive. While Ireti Doyle impresses as a villain, the film's numerous flaws, including unrealistic scenes and questionable character decisions, overshadow any positive aspects. The movie's attempt at societal commentary falls flat, and its excessive runtime becomes a tedious experience. Ultimately, "Merry Men 3" feels like a subpar imitation of the Fast and Furious series, suggesting it's time for the franchise to come to a close.

Not Merry Men 3

So this movie may probably have been better as a movie on its own rather than a sequel to the Merry Men movie. Seems like they were working on a smaller budget and less time to deliver so the entire film seems like a rush job. The continuity is really poor, the character changes like Dera, and Ayo's son are pretty obvious and it's a disappointing watch for Merry men fans. The action scenes didn't live up to expectations and the producers may have felt like the performance of the villain would be enough to carry the movie but it didn't It just seemed like great performance from a single character.
