I very much liked "The Workplace Proximity" ep of "The Big Bang Theory"
tavm13 November 2013
In this ep of "The Big Bang Theory": Amy tells Sheldon she's going to work at his place of employment which seems fine with Sheldon...until Howard mentions how he doesn't want wife Bernadette to be at his workplace all the time which doesn't go well with her when she hears about it from Sheldon. My, how these relationships get difficult for these nerdy/geeky men! Anyway, this was another funny ep of "The Big Bang Theory". I especially love when Raj predicts how Howard will try to get out of arguing with Bernie! Oh, and Sheldon is as clueless as ever when he tries to make it up with Amy, that's for sure! Oh, and I also loved that monkey Amy has to work with! So on that note, "The Workplace Proximity" was another very enjoyable ep of "The Big Bang Theory".

Growth in relationships.
mooro61218 October 2013
Warning: Spoilers
In this episode both Sheldon and Howard are given the chance for growth in their personal relationships. Sheldon fails miserably, while Howard has to spend some time in isolation for putting his foot in his mouth by discussing his idea of togetherness in front of the boys. Amy gets the chance to work at the university for a few months and instead of seeing this as a chance to spend more time with his beloved, Sheldon listens to some very bad advice from Howard and they both end up on the wrong side of scorned woman. Sheldon of course needs Penny and Leonard to tell him what he has done wrong, while Howard who knows exactly what he has done wrong, just runs straight back to his previous relationship, the bromance with Raj. The Big Bang Theory has always been about Sheldon not fitting in to society, and this episode reinforces that, with Sheldon acting like a five year old in terms of his relationship with both Amy and his friends. Some of the laughs are based on ethnic stereotypes, but again this is Sheldon's impaired social interactions at work. In the end he gets the chance to set the record straight with Amy, and you'll never guess how he handles that conversation?

Sheldon at His Worst
Hitchcoc27 October 2021
Amy has a project where she will be working near Sheldon's workplace. He shoots his mouth off about seeing someone at work and at home and treats Amy like crap. Jim Parsons is ruthless in his social ineptitude. He blows the whistle on Howard because of a comment he made. Bernadette is furious. Sometimes she is way too much for me.

Horrible

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was outright horrible. There was no real fun, Sheldon was an obnoxious bully, Howard was stupid and Leonard was mean. And Amy's constantly whining-irritated voice gets on my nerve. I sure hope they retrieve some of the fun that was present in the first three seasons. Lowlights of the episode included: - Sheldon making fun of other people's names and ethnicity; Shelton telling on Howard like a toddler telling on his fellow classmate; Sheldon's pure arrogance when rejecting Amy and during the dinner. And, as people pointed out in the board, the writing team is losing the character traits. Sheldon would *never* go to the bathroom in the evening.

The 2nd worst episode of season 7
magicastor9 October 2021
Not as bad as The Itchy Brain Simulation but still pretty disappointing. Season 7 is a great season but this episode is very blah.

Mean spirited episodes where Sheldon is more annoying than usual gives my rating of a 3/10.
