I thought it was okay (the movie)

This features the Nostalgia Critic's review of "Alice In Wonderland", the live-action version. It's odd because in his real thoughts he's actually angrier than the Critic! He complains about how the fact that it's about a prophecy and like a war movie is a complete betrayal of the source material. He means it when he says "Care Bears In Wonderland" was better. He says that at least that movie was about bringing order to Wonderland, which would be a legitimate threat. I think in the actual movie, the villain's goal was also about making Wonderland a miserable place, and wasn't that the villain's motive here?

Making Wonderland unhappy WOULD be a legitimate threat. I do love the end where he pays tribute to Tim Burton. Although he hates this movie, he at least admits Burton can be a talented director. The Critic is accompanied by Malice and we get some great jokes out of this. You can tell he (and Doug Walker) really resent poor symbolism. He should have had that on his worst cliches list. ****
