A Bit Frantic
Hitchcoc5 November 2021
It all starts when Amy decides to throw a Victorian Christmas party. Raj's father is in the States and goes to the party, which proves to be as dull as one could imagine. Ii tired fast of the efforts to get birds out of the clean room which pulls people away from the party. I wanted to be over as soon as possible.

Okay overall - Good For Season

I'll start with this season. To enjoy this season, you need to expect dull moments, poor writing and annoying acting. This episode may be worth a high rating for this season, but for the series, it isn't that much. To balance out of expectations and overall feel of the show, I give it a 4.8, which rounds to 5 on IMDb. Now onto the episode, Sheldon was completely out of character (usual for this season). I would say he was about as dumb (or smart) as your average person. I suppose they forgot he is (was?) the smartest person in the world/show. Penny was being her typical- to-recent-seasons jerk. Leonard again is clueless. Raj and Howard still can't get along. Bernadette is continuing her caricature extremes. Amy was decent, but overall bore.

One of season 8 best episodes

People have been saying that The Big Bang Theory has been declining. But this episode proves that people are wrong and that the show is still fun to watch. This was an amazing and funny episode. All the characters were good. We were even able to meet a new character. Jim Parsons was amazing as always. I hope there are more episodes like this. A pretty fun episode. This show is still not dead. This episode of the big bang theory was a 10/10. I hope the following episodes will be just as good. It was probably as good as last years episode of the Thanksgiving one. And that's all I have to say. Nothing more, nothing less.

Clean Room Infiltration: Child molestation jokes and drinking
dsnynutz115 December 2014
So this is where the once great show of the Big Bang Theory has ended up, stupid plots (Amy plans a big Christmas party, so of course the boys go into work on that day, and Bernadette, who's driving Sheldon to the party gets talked into spending hours at the mall, WHILE DRIVING TO THE PARTY to find a gift to make Amy FEEL BAD) and child molestation jokes from the once brilliant and beautiful mind of Sheldon Cooper. Sigh.

It was bad enough watching them turn Sheldon turn into a three year old (complete with sticky fingers) and having Amy get off on it (saying she thought "He's like a sexy Toddler", and using the child molestation grooming guidebook to get him to like her), but the having The Powers That Be have Sheldon (The epitome of innocence) joke about his Uncle being a drunk child molester, but it's o.k. since its legal in Oklahoma is disturbing on so many levels. (although it might explain why he doesn't want anyone in his room and screams Danger, Danger when being woken up).

Knowing Moreno spent time at Nickelodeon making kids shows makes me wonder why he feels the need to put a predator/prey relationship and molestation jokes into this show. If this is the really the kind of stuff he thinks is o.k., maybe the Los Angeles Police Department should take a look into his computers.

Wildly ignorant and offensive

Warning: Spoilers
What kind of sick person throws a victorian party and invites Indians ??? Quick reminder : India became officially part of the British under Queen Victoria's reign, and she even proclaimed herself "Empress of India". I'm a fan of the show in general, but that episode in particular is, at the very least, of very poor taste and a sign of how the writers lack education. The evidence of that being that none of the two Indians attending the party even comments or even makes a joke about that. The writers simply didn't even know what they were doing, and I can't get over how such ignorance can be aired on a global scale.
