Question of honor
bkoganbing22 September 2016
Although both SVU and Law And Order prime had episodes involving sex crimes on college campuses, I did like this Blue Bloods episode and how it was handled here. Again as in the other stories the issue is how the colleges deal with it when the victim decides to pursue things internally. The victim Alexandra Socha is a friend of Sammi Gayle's and she sees Bridget Moynahan privately three months after the incident happened. That in itself makes it hard to deal with from a law enforcement perspective.

Donnie Wahlberg and partner Marissa Ramirez face a crisis of conscience. Watching this part of the story I remember the movie Fort Apache and how John Wayne tells his commanding officer Henry Fonda that his word even to a 'breech clothed savage' means something to him. It does get handled a bit differently here, this question of honor.

I liked both ends of this Blue Bloods story.

Warning: Spoilers
It was just a matter of time before Danny and his new female commanding officer would butt heads. When she decides to ride with her cops to see what goes on, you know a confrontation is forthcoming.

What made the episode so good was that the two reached common ground when a baby survives a shooting that takes his mother and later causes the suicide of his father. Children may always bring out the best in people.

Frank could have come to blows with Erin's new boyfriend when the latter announces new tactics while being interviewed with Frank present.

Will romance heat up between Jaime and his partner? It sure looks that way.
