I have mixed feelings about this season
hamedazad6 December 2015
Warning: Spoilers
This season of AHS is so much confusing to me. I enjoy it in a way that you enjoy a story with plot twists and a lot to reveal during the season. But the holes are SO deep that you can fit a whole new show in it (I mean they're big!). How could John forget about his killings? Come on, it was an on going killing-investigation and he simply forgot all that? and OK, let's just say that he somehow managed to forget them all, how could the touch of a woman make you remember them ALL??? Also, there are an awful lot of vampires in the hotel, so their "human input" must be quite a lot to support them. how can they meet such demand and yet they could make it this much time without turning the hotel into a cemetery??

These plot holes alongside with great music and somehow good acting (except for lady gaga who is just talent-less with her poker face) makes me have a mixed feeling about this season.

The Killer Himself

Warning: Spoilers
This episode begins with John, he just saw that Wren got hit by a car. Wren died instantly after the accident. It gets clear that John is The Ten Commandments Killer. John has a conversation with James. It gets clear that John already knew James for 5 years. John stabs a knife into Andy's stumic, he died afterwards. John has to do two more killings to complete his mission. Nice episode of American Horror Story Season 5, John is the cruel killer. He hunted himself these 8 episodes. Crazy things!

S5.E8 - John The Killer [9/10]

Warning: Spoilers
(S5. E8) My Live Reaction / Review for American Horror Story Season 5 Episode 8 ''The Ten Commandments Killer''. The previous episode was good and I gave it a rating of 7/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. I think John is losing it. Wait so John did all these crimes? Yeah, I don't believe that but I could be wrong. That was a very dramatic way to start the episode. So this whole episode wants us to think, is it John a monster or is he a victim? Im glad to see more of Mr. March in this episode. Nobody believes John, its kinda sad to watch. March is using John. John is willing to work for March? That's insane, he is losing it really bad. Overall this episode wasnt that good, my rating is 9/10.

All over the place

Seldomly has a TV Show left me so frustrated. Its like a kid with ADHD who can't stay still for one second and starts one thing without finishing the other. Now, that might also be the point of it all, maybe that's exactly the draw, the excessive storylines, the plot-twists, the overacting, and I get it, it is kind of fun. Its camp, and there is a definite place for it when done right. But obviously Murphy is going for something big, he wants to thrill and shock- and he wants to be sophisticated about it in the process.

But this episode showed me that its all a facade, its all going nowhere. Its just a plot twist for the plot twists sake. It's not like Murphy is trying to create something coherent and mysterious, its pure trash TV for an audience of imbeciles, who think over-dramatization, shlock and pseudo-deep platitudes are good filmmaking and storytelling. In reality, Murphy and team are just throwing everything at the wall and seeing what sticks.

I love style, I love when style becomes substance, but in AHS the style exists as a separate organism. AHS is a great looking TV Show. Its has imaginative sets, costumes and camerawork, and its what makes the episodes fun to look at.

This episode as a whole encapsulates everything that I despise about this show. A constant barrage of information delivered in the most obnoxious way possible.
