Is imitation really the sincerest form of flattery, certainly Lucifer Morningstar most definitely doesn't imagine so, when he discovered that someone is attempting to tarnish his brand image?
Detective Chloe Decker most definitely wants her cake and to scoff it all herself, for she desperately wants to be seen to have solved every case on her own, so she goes out of her way to avoid accepting any offers.
But she is not averse to doing so as surreptitiously as she can manage, but she is not necessarily as good at it as she imagines herself to be.
"The future of football the American Dream, honest, heroic, resilient, we kept your involvement in a girls murder out the press, we got you out of jail, we will always protect you, and make you a bigger star then ever, this is Ty Huntley rebranded".
So speaks one Joe Hanson the head honcho at CRAG the sports PR agency representing their 'Star' player, this USA sport encapsulated as Hanson and his admiring company executives subtext is, "This is how we (this company) will get even richer off your back".
But is Ty Huntley really that naive, innocent or as squeaky clean as he professes to be about the ways and pitfalls of the professional sports industry?
