Another great episode.

Wow, what can I say about this one. It was an amazing episode, taking us on a journey from laugh out loud humour, to horror in the blink of an eye. The scene with Maze and Lucifer in the penthouse is both funny and revealing. The devil worship storyline is nicely played out and believable. Seeing Lucifer at his lowest ebb in the final scene is heartbreaking. I can't wait for the finale!

Perfect combination of wit, cleverness, sexiness, suspense

Warning: Spoilers
Another perfect episode! None of the Lucifer episodes so far have been less than perfect, but this one even might have topped the other ones slightly (if this is possible). It is amazing how much entertainment, self-irony, clever, witty dialogs, suspense, philosophy, fun, sexiness and even moral the writers can combine in each Lucifer episode. This is truly well-written, well-acted, well-done television entertainment. I absolutely agree with Lucifer being a scapegoat for all the bad things god is performing in his own will (and lazy believers taking it for granted that God is good and Lucifer is the bad guy), if you believe that God is almighty you must also believe that everything that happens is intended to happen/wanted by God, and he put Lucifer and the other angels/minions in place, and not Lucifer is killing/sabotaging anyone, and not at all innocent people or animals, this is God's specialty, he preferentially targets the good people, Lucifer only punishes bad people, and he is doing so following God's will... If you wanna believe you have to believe it all... -I am totally for the good side/against evil, the question is who represents it!!

A more enjoyable episode...
Dr_Sagan20 April 2016
I must have missed some episodes but I checked #TeamLucifer just now. Well, there is an improvement to the enjoyment, with some portions of meta-humor and self-sarcasm.

In this episode Luci meets his ...followers, Satanists. Reverse Pentalpha, hoodies, chanting in Latin, sacrifices of animals...the whole package. The problem is that Lucifer ...despises them! "I'm the real Lucifer and I insist that you stop this nonsense immediately!! I mean, have you heard yourselves?!" There goes Satanism and the related rituals.

So, again Lucifer is portrayed as a misunderstood fellow. In his own words "I'm not evil. I punish evil.".

I never took this series seriously. I just saw it for what it is. And when real substance is missing, you look if the product is entertaining enough. Well, #TeamLucifer was better. Not much different but there is improvement. Basically the writers started to address the questions in everyones minds. Lucifer himself is searching for the mechanics of the show. How is this works...in a plausible way.

Overall: Misunderstanding is the keyword in almost every aspect of Lucifer. The series is misunderstood by the sworn Satanists who glorified it after the pilot. It is misunderstood by Christian Organizations who are trying to get it of the air (although I understand the argument of representing Satan as a cool guy might attract some young people to sinful practices). And the actual TV Lucifer is also gravely misunderstood. Anyway the latest episode was entertaining so..7 out of 10.

The Luck of the Devil?
ygwerin14 October 2022
The murder involves a Lucifer wannabe in a satanist cult, presenting the victim as an sacrifice to the devil, causing detective Decker to specifically ask for Lucifer's assistance at the crime scene.

Chloe and Lucifer have had a form of epiphany in their personal relationship, with his final realisation that she renders him vulnerable, currently unsure of how to handle matters causes him choose to keep his distance from her.

Detective Malcolm Graham invites himself to the investigation with a nudge nudge wink wink to Lucifer, assuming some special relationship due to their previous contretemp.

Amenadiel had been given a specific mission by his dad to rat out his own brother Lucifer, his chosen mortal hit man however felt he had received, a better keep out of hell deal. Leaving him a verifiable Hobson's Choice, succeed or fail, he has to somehow achieve his goal, or be prepared to suffer the consequences.

[7.3] Underwhelming force and effects
cjonesas5 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Episode 12: A sort of nonsensical episode with some things happening in uninteresting, illogical and unorderly fashions. The acting is good as always, while the screenplay plots aren't.

Even the closing fight was childish with underwhelming force and effects, aside one scene (Luci. Throwing him).

At least, Chloe's facial emotions are realistic and well featured.
