Black, brown, and yellow people have been forced to assimilate and sacrifice part of their identities, but so too have white people, unwittingly. Eddie takes a road trip through the Cape to explore monoculture in one America's most exclusionary vacation locations.

Toronto has been said to be the most multicultural city on earth; half of its inhabitants are foreign born, with over 200 nationalities. It is a cosmopolitan immigrant city that isn't as much about assimilation as it is about co-existing. Eddie checks out Toronto by embedding himself in a handful of immigrant communities to better understand how ethnic food flourishes under the support of multiculturalism.
