Warning: Spoilers
Starting where we left off, Charlotte about to send Chloe to an early grave as she prepares to detonate the bomb she placed, only to be interrupted by Amenadiel. Who seems to be blinded by his faith in his mother. Meanwhile, Chloe is set to face her fathers killer in trial where the bond between Lucifer and Chloe will be put to the test. As Charlotte takes the stand, in a ploy to sever Lucifer's ties with the earthly realm, she puts the gears into motion, by killing a key witness in the trial. Which throws off there slam dunk case. Lucifer steps up and uses his charms and wit to win over the court. Unlike some, this show seems to be gaining depth in story telling as it progresses and with the help of Tricia Helfer, the show is growing into quite the insidious journey. We find out that Decker's a miracle. Which raises a lot of questions, for instance, does she have any powers? Was it Lucifer that saved her when she got shot?

Warning: Spoilers
Wow, what a magnificent episode! Just watched it twice, and I'm still psyched! In this episode the story gets a whole new twist, IMHO. I'm loving it!

The amount of trust in each other that both Chloe and Lucifer show in court is amazing, and they finally realize what they mean to each other...or do they?!.

The viewer gets a slice of what's ahead, and I can't wait to see it! Apparently 'Dad' isn't as devious as He's appeared to be so far, and Mum...well, Mum... Then there's Amenadiel, who's showing a new side, and Mazikeen who seems to be getting close to Detective Douche.

There is so much tension in this episode that I don't know where to begin! If you haven't watched this show: watch it! If you have watched this show, watch it again!

The Mother in Law from Hell

Mazikeen was right all along to be suspicious of the motivations of God's ex spouse, and bang on the money in regards to her sons being far too soft on her.

As both Amenadiel and Lucifer Morningstar were so caught up, in their own woes to really see her for what she really is.

She came to Earth with her own plan agenda, her protestations about being a dutiful mother, and only wanting to be with her sons as a family was a complete sham.

She is also thoroughly egotistical, self, psychotic, and prepared to stop at nothing to get her own way, with absolutely no consideration for anyone's wellbeing.

What has happened to Lucifer Morningstar he went out of his way, to talk Chloe Decker into having dinner with him in a swanky restaurant, then a simple remark from his therapist doctor Linda Martin, is enough to make him all moody and contemplative.

He is never one to admit his mistakes or failings, coming up with the most spurious excuse for his not even turning up for the dinner, but can he manage to make sufficient amends for his stupidity?

Detective Chloe Decker,s father John Decker was murdered on duty and, the investigation to finally locate his killer has been a long and tortuous one, it has culminated in the trial of Prison Governor Perry Smith, who has non other than Charlotte Richards as his defence attorney.
