My vote is 8 of 10. Another solid episode of Lucifer.

Lucifer has managed to be many things, a cop show, a supernatural and with drama. It keeps the story going in all the directions. The episode features another crime as usual and progresses and focus particularly on the personal side of our characters and their relationship with each other. We can see the emotional side Amandiel, Maze, Mom and Lucifer. I feel like they are getting humanized. Ella and Dan continue to lighten up the show with their pleasant presence. The ending is exciting and I we will have to wait to see what is going to happen in the next episode.

Supernatural Beings Can Be Sooo Totally Clueless At Times

I just LOVE the humor sprinkled throughout this series; the scene that runs from 05:32 to 06:45 is an example.

Sibling Rivalry?

For a zillion year old track record of being the Goddess of all Creation, and now living the earthly life of the demon attorney Charlotte Richards, the favourite lawyer to the mob, she is unbelievable naive and actually believes what a criminal tells her.

Dr Linda Martin is being hauled over the coals, because she used her official position in helping, Lucifer Morningstar to escape from the mental hospital, when Mazikeen discovered this it accentuated her rage against him.

Lucifer, Amenadiel, and the Goddess, need to locate a mystical artefact, to aid them in their quest, this leads to them needing to seek the assistance, of a neighbourhood homicide detective.

The trail then leads them inexorably towards a swish bash, to which Charlotte Richards already has an invitation, and Detective Detective has to be her plus one to gain an entrée.

However the Goddess as always has her own agenda, and is more than happy to strike whatever deal, that she considers necessary to help her achieve it.

Doctor Linda Martin has been suspended, Mazikeen is determined to help her friend, and insists, on dragging Lucifer along with her to the officials head office, this ultimately backfired when Lucifer decided, to be far too open for the doctors own good.

Getting Tired of Mom
dahnadanli12 August 2020
I just recently started watching this series. It's unique and definitely has my interest in several ways, but the 'mad mother' story line is already getting old. Over and over and over mommy dearest manipulates and plots and gets away with it. Over and over Lucifer and Amandiel forgive or make excuses. Bored now. zzzzz. I'm ready for someone to PLEASE kill her and let's move on. One season of this is more than enough, but it looks like we're stuck with her for another season or two. I may have to move on instead. :(
