Continuing the nice 'J. J wants independence' arc that was started a few episodes ago, this is a nice end for the first series of 'Speechless'.
Well played out, with a sense of both humour and heart - this episode really sums up everything that 'Speechless' has done well over the course of its first year.
It's been a series of growth, as the writers have found out what works well, and perhaps what doesn't.
The characters of Dylan and Kenneth could still do with a bit more development, but on the whole the good has outweighed the weak, and there have been very few episodes that when re-watching I would skip.
A nice close to series one.
