Seriously?
MamadNobari974 July 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Well here we go again with the dumb antagonist doesn't properly kill the protagonist (which in this case is a Villain) and left her\him to rescue her/him self and survive cliché. like the scene in the black panther when Killmonger throw T'challa in the river like seriously? how stupid you have to make the character to further your plot? either don't make antagonist winning against protagonist where at the end one of them are gonna be dead or when you write these kind of scenes don't dumb down the antagonist so he doesn't Really kill the protagonist and the hero lives on.

So at the end of this episode Bushmaster invade Mariah's house and capture her and her daughter to burn them. then he proceed to tell the true history of his family and Stokes family and how Mariah's granpa screw over his and Mariah killed Bushmasters mother i think. After that not only he uncuff her daughter but also proceed to leave the house with his henchmen and not watch her actually die?!? What The HELL He says a line before all this that he imagined this in his mind over and over but now that its actually happening its even sweeter than those imaginations. Then wtf is with this let the daughter of the b*ch loose and don't actually burn her just the s*it around her and give her a chance to run? you think with what we seen from Bushmaster till now that hes a fierce and cold-blooded killer so hes gonna enjoy watching her burn but NOPE.

Why would you ruin a rather good season with this lazy writing and clishé s*it. If you want Mariah's to lives on to the end of the season then don't make a scene with Bushmaster showing up at her door and trying to kill her then leave But don't actually kill her so she has a chance to run.

I think i've said enough about that frustrating scene and i actually enjoyed this episode but that scene really killed it for me.

(sorry if my grammar sucks english is not my first language) and also this was my first review on this site ever so if it was sloppy!

On and On

Warning: Spoilers
First Luke wants to kill Misty, now he wants to team with her and he saves her. The show really needs some direction and fast this season.

They are also turning Bushmaster into a comedic character. He should be a menacing force, not someone who just wants to look at the club he has seized power over.

Still Slowly Improving
zomgzomg22 February 2019
The opening scene was actually pretty good. The editing and cinematography was very clean.

The interactions between Luke and his father in this episode were nice to see.

The action sequences were surprisingly good. They flowed nicely and the punches and kicks felt like they had a lot of weight behind them.

The reveal of Piranha's current state was great. They couldn't've done better.

I'm still not sure what the point of Mariah's Daughter is. She hasn't done anything yet and I don't believe Mariah has changed at all with her presence.

The climactic scene between Shades and Comanche was kind of predictable but served okay as a scene.

The ending climax was a bit awkward and the timing didn't all make sense, but at least it means the story is moving in a new and perhaps more interesting direction.

Lacks a certain something

Again, nothing particularly special here. It keeps you watching and just about holds your attention thanks to the frequent action, but it just lacks a certain something.

Sudden nonsense
SureCommaNot3 December 2023
While this season has struggled overall to get back the solid footing of the first season, this episode in particular had so many suspend-your-disbelief moments.

For example, Shades comes up with a believable narrative to cover up the man he killed, but then suddenly shoots the guy again, from an angle that makes clear the killing was execution-style. Why?

And Bushwhatever's choices in that ending scene don't make much sense either. He undermines his own choices just like Shades did, in a way that undermines both the drama and his own intelligence.

I also find it hard to believe Misty would just go to a bar in the middle of all this. It undermines her character, given how devoted we've seen her to be, to the storyline, and the fate of the other characters.

Also, watch the extras during Shades' rendezvous with the snitch. I blame the director for how ridiculous and over-the-top they behaved. Unbelievable.
