Thank heavens that that evil little toddler isn't in this episode: his absence automatically means that this one is an improvement over the previous chapter.
This episode also features a couple of impressively gory fight scenes: 1) Kelly battles with Ruby, blowing a hole in her head that the camera passes through. She also uses a grenade that leaves Ruby missing her arms and legs. The bloody limbs crawl their way back to Ruby, who reattaches them. 2) Ash battles a monster whose body is the mutated fusion of two of the Knights of Sumeria. This creature pulls off another knight's head (complete with spinal column) before Ash is able to defeat it by slicing off the top of its skull with his chainsaw.
Oh, and another major character bites the dust (unless they find another silly way of getting them to return as they did with Pablo).
