Consists mostly of two gory fight scenes.

Thank heavens that that evil little toddler isn't in this episode: his absence automatically means that this one is an improvement over the previous chapter.

This episode also features a couple of impressively gory fight scenes: 1) Kelly battles with Ruby, blowing a hole in her head that the camera passes through. She also uses a grenade that leaves Ruby missing her arms and legs. The bloody limbs crawl their way back to Ruby, who reattaches them. 2) Ash battles a monster whose body is the mutated fusion of two of the Knights of Sumeria. This creature pulls off another knight's head (complete with spinal column) before Ash is able to defeat it by slicing off the top of its skull with his chainsaw.

Oh, and another major character bites the dust (unless they find another silly way of getting them to return as they did with Pablo).

The production is still campy. The actors are still excellent. The hand grenade scenes were funny. We got blind -sided here. Nooo! We were NOT expecting that to happen.

"Burns, doesn't it?"

The rating of this episode is somewhere between 9 & 10, due to lack of humor & Brandy's limited role. However:

Arielle Carver-O'Neill played a lovely daughter, who treated her Dad to his 1st toasted pastry.

Lucy Lawless & Dana Delorenzo showed a wonderful actresses' interaction, not only an entertaining catfight.

Finally, as expected, Ashy Slashy handled that 'sticky' "demon sp..." on his own groovy way.

A better episode here, bringing in a number of redshirts for plenty of gory mayhem and a shocking character twist I didn't expect to see coming. More like this please!
