This episode was absolutely nail biting, talk about living up to its title, Dark Heart, very! I haven't squirmed watching a drama for a long time, this had me on pins. I remember an episode of Waking the Dead dealing with a similar theme a few years back, that was dark, but this was just as harrowing, such a bleak subject to deal with.
Tom Riley is absolutely stealing the show, he is genuinely captivating to watch, I know I haven't finished the series yet, but I hope more are made, so many places they can take this drama, with the obvious hiatus that follows with Luther, this will do very nicely.
I loved the story, and I loved the sub story surrounding Paolo, very interesting, but Will lose out by taking him on or not, and just what is Josie Chancellor up to? is she om the take? Something isn't adding up. I cannot wait to watch the last two and find out the conclusion. 9/10
