I found the first series of Porters to be daft but engaging. Come on Rutger Hauer as a zen like porter Tillman, what more do you want.
Series two sees Daniel Mays join the team as Hauer's replacement. Tillman has gone off to see the Dalia Lama but Hauer still pops up as the does The Chinese Detective as the Dalia Lama.
Mays plays Anthony De La Mer, who knows all the tricks of the trade. He certainly rubs up Frankie the wrong way over her perfume scam. She needs to set him up and it comes as a shock to De La Mer.
As for Simon he has a shock when Lucy announces that she is engaged with the perfect Doctor.
