Please give D'Arcy every possible award for this episode. Even the first 10 minutes of it would be enough proof that she's a comedy gem.
The script was absolutely brilliant. Directing and acting were outstanding.
One of the very best episodes of any series this year, and I'd have to go back a lot to find any other being this good.

Deserves more than 10 stars

This is a brilliant, hilarious episode of television featuring a tour de force performance from D'Arcy Carden. Not many actors can convincingly embody their fellow castmates' well defined characters, and she does it spectacularly. Carden was seriously robbed of an Emmy nomination for this one. The script (which was nominated) is hilarious and especially features some fantastic moments for Jason-Janet. It's also a huge episode that sets up the rest of the season.
Easily one of my favorite episodes of the series to date. And I cannot emphasize this enough: D'ARCY. DESERVED. AN. EMMY.

WOW

D'Arcy's hard work to perfectly portay all of these extremely different characters was not in vain. Her portrayal of Chidi and Eleanor's complicated relationship was astonishing; D'arcy's portrayal of the complicated persona of Jason was spot on! You cannot forget her amazing portrayal of Tahani either. Stephen Merchant was the perfect choice for the boss accountant. I can't stop watching this episode,
MOTHERFORKERS!
garabedian12314 December 2018
Great episode...But these motherforkers delayed us a week just for this episode...just so that immediately after we would have to wait 5 more weeks to see the last 3 episodes. Motherforking shirtballs. If we hadn't skipped last week then the season would have been over before christmas...but now we have to wait months? this is Bullshirt!
My New Favorite

This is without a doubt the funniest half hour of TV I have ever seen! I never laugh out loud, and this episode had me constantly smiling, chuckling, giggling, laughing, and guffawing. And they still manage to keep a healthy chunk of philosophical content while keeping the comedy going.
They finally gave D'Arcy a chance to shine, and she rises to the challenge brilliantly and hilariously.
This is without a doubt my new all-time, absolute, indisputable favorite half hour of television EVER!!

D'arcy Carden Makes Us All Smile

I have never left a review for a specific episode but this is just my favorite TV episode of the past few years.d'A
D'arcy Carden plays six characters and DANG IT SHE IS GOOOD. She is really good. After the scene where she vomits paper-clips last season, this whole episode is my second favorite Janet moment. The amazingly talented actress really gets to shine and it's not even a true bottle episode: there are some serious advances in the plot as watchers of the show might expect. Using D'arcy Carden in an episode that is essential to the main plot journey was an amazing decision. Props to the writers for letting her showcase her talents. Playing 6 characters could NOT have been easy and they are all distinguishable too. I just want to reiterate D'ARCY CARDEN IS AMAZING and I think everyone should watch this episode. It could cure depression (well maybe not, but it's pretty damn close to being such a miracle).
I wish she had gotten a nomination. Any proper nomination. DANG YOU EMMY'S.

I absolutely love this show, but I have to say I am beyond impressed D'Arcy Carden. She always been a fantastic Janet, but this episode showed us her amazing range. Finally seeing Eleanor and Chidi was just the cherry on top of the most amazing sundae ever!

Whilst the humans are in Janet's void, they have side effects and personal things to deal with.
Michael and Janet meantime visit the accountancy department. And some suspicions you might have picked up last episode may just get developed upon...
The most insanely creative bit of tv ever. D'arcy carden gives the greatest performance s ever in a half hour tv show. The writing is the kind of writing that would leave you rumming through a gamut of emotions if it wasn't taking your breath away through sheer awe inspiring brilliance. As ever, this show balances comedy with philosophy amazingly well.
Meantime Stephen Merchant plays Stephen Merchant. Again. It's a one trick over familiar performance.
But the rest of this is so brilliant, it really doesn't matter. And the wait for the next episode after that ending...agh!

D'Arcy Carden is awesome. Her portrayal of Eleanor, Chidi, Tahani and Jason was spot-on and it was fun to see her interact with herself.
Guest star Stephen Merchant playing the accountant was a joy to see as well and the whole storyline about him was funny and gave more insight in the whole point system.
But all these things can't make up for the mess that is Eleanor and Chidi's relationship. Their relationship is basically framed as predetermined due to the fact that they had this sort of relationship before. While Chidi is a bit of a jerk about it and is certainly wrong to think this has absolutely no impact or meaning on him he is right about the fact that the Chidi and Eleanor that were in love are not the same persons as they are now. Them having had this relationship can say something about their relationship now but doesn't have to. If either of them had shown any indication of having more than platonic feelings for the other before knowing about their past (or alternative future) I would see no problems. But this isn't the case and Eleanor and Chidi's feelings come out of nowhere, framing this relationship as determined despite claiming the opposite in the previous episode. A romantic conclusion in a TV show needs to be prepared beforehand to be convincing - and Michael and the viewer knowing some version of them were in a relationship isn't enough, it needs to be prepared on the character level.
