Everything I hoped it would be

Everything about this episode (okay, besides the opening, depending on who you ask) was done perfectly. The pacing felt very natural, VA's portrayed the characters' emotions flawlessly, the animation was just something else, and the music from Sawano really gave this episode a season one type vibe that the show has been missing lately. I sincerely hope the rest of the season is like this.

While the return of Attack on Titan is always exciting, this second half of Season 3 feels especially loaded since it returns to where this all started, Shiganshina District and that ominous basement in the Jaeger abode. "The Town Where Everything Began" doesn't get to Eren's childhood home just yet, but it delivers a delicate, tense installment that's a slow burn that erupts into an inferno by the end.

The Hype is most definetly real.

At first it did throw me off guard that the episode starts with the Scout Regiment already at Wall Maria however looking back I definitely think it was a good decision in order to not repeat the Season 1 Female Titan Arc. There was little action for the majority of the episode until the last few minutes. You may think that it's a negative however the tension for the majority of the episode was truly remarkable, there was a feeling of uncomfortability just waiting for Reiner and Beartold to show up which kept me really engaged with the episode. The focus on Armin was surprisingly good, with him being refreshing after having a mopey depressing Eren for the majority of Season 3. Overall an amazing episode but i wont spoil Anything.

Brilliant episode. I loved everything about it. Seems like people are split about the OP/ED , but i really liked both. The OP had awesome visuals that matched the music, but the song felt like it was building to something that didn't happen. The ED was very nostalgic with visuals of past events. "Great Escape" remains the best ED easily in my opinion.

This episode picks up where we left off with the Scouts approaching the wall. Great interaction between Eren and Armin early on. Loved the overall focus on Armin in this episode. They're building him up as a successor to Erwin. There was no action in this episode until the last 3 minutes, but the atmosphere and tension was perfectly done. You felt like Reiner and Bertholdt could appear at any moment.

The ending with Reiner and Beast Titan was incredible. LOVED Levi just charging at Reiner. The OST was perfect in that scene. What a start so far.

I think this was one of the best episodes of this season,the opening,levi attacking Reiner,and most importantly Armin getting the appreciation he deserves.

Everything about this episode was great. From the suspense, the music, Erwin's plans working through Armin cause he believed in him, this could not have been better.

I'm worried about something that Colosal Titan CGI, I pray that in the anime will be better, but the 99% of the episode was PERFECT, the tension, the drama, action, music, animation, all perfect... and just a reminder... this is the weakest episode of the season.

Almost no plot development.

This is just used to build hype with no importance.

This episode was an absolute BANGER! Amazing way to kick off "The battle to retake the wall"! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! Everytime i come back to this part of the series i get equally excited! Thats how good it is! There is always a feel of nostalgia when watching this cause it all comes Downey to how the show began!

The episode slowly builds tension as you know something is gonna happen, and yet you are left in shock when it blows up near the end!

Animation is also amazing with some breathtaking ODM gear scenes that warms you up for what is to come! Soundtrack was also amazing! Had me so hyped at the end!

The name of the episode is supposed to be a big trap. Everyone is trapped

This episode really shocked me and it was much better than I expected.
