This was more like the first few episodes great tension building up throughout the episode and real reactions to what's happening. Still huge frustration with the whole taking zombies out thing but was solid story wise for the most part.

Sorry, couldn't think of anything witty to say. It's a good episode this, well written, well acted, intense and all round fun. Kyungsun is now my absolute favourite character in this series because of this episode and the person I'm most eager to see survive until the end.

I usually love to try to survive in a small space in the zombie series like the a small house or a tower. I also enjoyed the whole episode so much I was trying to survive in a cafe where 5 people. The number of zombies was only 2, I think the number would be a little more though more tense and more exciting,because he couldn't give us the fear exactly that two zombies but nice part was also quite well done

Dark Diner

This Episode begins with Sun and William, they got trapped in a abandoned diner together. William meets Bill at the diner. Sun talks with Carmen, she is the other survivor who is together with Bill. Sun meets Manny, he is Carmen's boyfriend. Sun is distracting the zombies, William and Bill escaped from the diner. Rose thinks that she sees her daughter Anna, but it is just a hallucination. Bill wants to feed Sun to the zombies, then the others can escape. Sun, Manny and Carmen knocked down Bill. Billy throws Bill outside the diner. Bill got eaten by zombies. Nice Episode of Black Summer Season 1, this was great and dark at the same time. The survivors are slowly creating a strong team!

So, you get stocked with the guys that made you crash. And some of them has the nerve to tell you that "what's done, is done". It's like being trapped with a guy who actually enjoyed TLJ. The only humane decision is to put all of them out of their misery... (And the writers too)

Entertainingly frustrating

This show is consistently bad.

Characters stuck in a diner, in a rush to get out for no apparent reason as they have supplies and the glass windows are seemingly indestructible.

After they fail at banding together to kill 2 zombies (5v2), their first reaction is to throw someone out to the zombies, making it 4v3. Not the best survival instincts here.

Also, did I miss something? Up until now, zombies have been sparse and the characters understanding of zombies seem to be minimal. Yet out of the blue one or the characters mentions there's a horde coming... where did that come from?

It's like the "writers" of this show were huge fans of TWD and wanted to put together a zombie show in the image of TWD without knowing how to write.

Inconsistencies abound!

I've enjoyed this series so far as it has a different take on the undead. However in this episode, they seek refuge in a diner. Well, it's nit Fort Knox, with windows all around. Yes windows, that any strong undead person would have no problem smashing with either a fist, elbow or even their whole bodyweight! That makes no sense at all.

A short observation about Episode 5

The survivors spend most of the time arguing about their situation. Finally, one guy wants to throw Sun out, but gets thrown out himself. Meanwhile, Rose and her crew wander aimlessly until the stumble upon the diner. Army guy shoots one zombie dead, but misses the other. The diner crew rushed out and beats the remaining zombie down. That's it! If there's any way to waste more airtime, the writers will think of it. And the actress who plays Rose isn't going to win any drama awards.

Sitting in a diner 1st stupid thing is blinds are open, why? few seconds later and dead appear at window? Are the forcing these stupid people and actions on us for drama??

Why is the dude so amazed to find food in a diner lol

Well that was the worst attempt to sneak up and kill zeds ever am I watching Fail Army?

So they know a horde is coming like how, so far there has been no radio, tv or anything. It would have been nice to have some info. Got to assume the bombers are blowing up the so called horde though instead of telling us or showing us important stuff we have been subjected to idiots and idiocy.

Im sure the guy wouldnt have got back up after the first smack on the head with a fire extinguisher.
