It's Party time.

Nurse Ratched, newly promoted, is truly the puppet master sitting at the very centre of the Institution pulling the strings, manipulating people to do exactly as she pleases.

Nurse Bucket is so much fun in this episode, nice to see her lighter side, Doctor Hanover has been pushed to extremes, he quite literally cannot cope with anything.

It's another all guns blazing episode, where quite literally anything can happen, so expect all sorts.

The main point here, the introduction of Sophie Okonedo, she is literally spellbinding in this, her performance is dazzling, she's such a great addition.

So many twists and turns, I love it! 8/10.

Another wild episode, an intriguing storyline and great cinematography and costumes.

I'm not a fan of this episode. Dances took to long and some scenes could've done differently.

Apparently no intelligent people reviewing here

Why all the terrible reviews (and terrible I do mean poorly written and incoherent)? Half the commenters don't even seem to have an accurate understanding of the episode's events.

This was where it all came together. I'll admit that through the first four episodes, I have mostly been yawning at the tropes, the gratuitous indulgence, and the seemingly directionless story. But this was when I realized that many of the themes and characters that have been building are in fact carefully and cleverly weaved. The episode was well paced and the crescendo dance sequence was thrilling.

I still don't know where it's all headed, but for the first time during this series I'm actually eager to get to the next episode and see if it all comes together.

And even if the plot ends up disappointing me, the acting is great and the art direction and cinematography is enough for me to say this show wasn't a waste of my time.

Awesome ending.

3 out of 5 stars.

Decent episode. Slow. Boring. And Doctor of the hospital is having trust issues. Script is slow moving. The ending is cool with the bonnie and clyde similarities.

Very disappointing

I love this show, I truly do, but I'm very disappointed by the extremely negative portrayal of DID (or multiple personality disorder.) Portrayals like this are what makes people scared of this struggling community and it really doesn't help when these shows display DID as something that crazy, dangerous and violent people have when in actuality it's just people trying to get through life as victims. I know the show is set in the 40's and thoughts and beliefs were very different and they've tried to express those feelings but I believe it's still very damaging to people who don't need to be hurt any more.

WORST GUEST ACTRESS goes to Sophie Okonedo
TheFearmakers23 September 2020
The show has promise and delivers when it's not going sideways into avenues that are really (as in, actually) tedious roadblocks, and here we're introduced to an African American woman who thinks... that she's many other people or something, and she goes on an overacting binge the likes that puts the show into a category of Cringe 101, and then some...

Horrible... Horrible... She's horrible... Please put her in the incinerator pronto...

I WILL STRIKE YOU IN THE FACE!!!

Warning: Spoilers
Begin here with Ratched and Hanover meeting for dinner to talk about Patient Edmund Tulleson. Ratched blackmails Hanover with exposure for the murders in the hospital unless he makes Ratched the head nurse over Nurse Bucket. Hanover goes immediately and tells Bucket to step down. Bucket is not pleased. Opening Stolen music plays.

Like nobody saw this coming........

I don't know the name of this new crazy woman who comes in as a patient obviously schizo but boy she has a lot of personalities. A lot of crazy in there!

Ratched meets with Briggs again and their 'relationship' deepens.

So Ratched told Hanover to invite Bucket to the dance , and Bucket to invite Hanover... Hanover can't stand Nurse Bucket, but Bucket asks Hanover and Hanover accepts. But then, Bucket volunteers to have Hanover hypnotize her , to test his ability. Hanover tries to suggest that Bucket go to the dance alone!! But Bucket she's having none of that!!! Proving that Hanover needs a lot more work on his hypnotizing skills!!

+1 Star for the Non Hypnotizing of Bucket, that was funny.+++++++++++

Hanover does hypnotize Charlotte tho, and she retells her tale of what happened to her. And Hanover appears to have really helped Charlotte thru the hypnosis.

Move on To Bucket, she goes and gets some dance lessons from Louise the motel owner!! I didn't even know they knew each other. but apparently they are good friends. And Bucket and Louise they find out that both of them don't like Ratched AT ALL.

and then LOL, Hanover is out eating at a diner and who walks in ??? OSGOOD!!! Such a small town!! Hanover freaks out and runs to Nurse Ratcheds Motel Room!!!

When this dance begins, lots of machinations are at work. So let's see what happens. Hanover gets his groove on with a sharply dressed Nurse Bucket. Hanover is pretty obviously doped to the gills. And Hanover, he finally snaps on Nurse Bucket. Tells her he can't stand her. And Edmund and Dolly they escape and shoot Briggs in the process altho she is still alive. So the dance was pretty eventful but really still kinda lame.

It ends wiTh Edmund and Dolly on the run. 4/10
