This could have been a 9 or 10 star episode, had it not been for the little lectures about certain topics that belong in reality, NOT entertainment.

I like this show
dollfacecrafter15 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
But this episode was not the greatest, poor Ella, and Maze, the hottest women on the show, wears an awful wedding dress, she couldnt even walk in it and just looked awful. Eve is kind of pathetic and Adam was just not likeable. I dont get the Linda thing, did I miss something ? Isnt she still with Amanadiel ?

Got to see an iconic moment from the Lucifer comics come to life, which was fought for by Lesley-Ann (Mazikeen) for a while! So happy to finally see her get her happy ending and seeing how far she really has come.

It's not about politics shut up
robertebel-1548914 September 2021
No one cares about your views on lesbians getting married or not it's television. It's quite literally a show about the Devil that your watching. It's the final season and it's closing the stories of ALL the characters. Demons, Angels and Devils there is nothing political about it. Seriously have any of you read the comics? It's not a spitting image but this is what Lucifer is.

My eyes started watering at one point. I'm so happy for Maze and it's amazing how far she's come! Definitely one of the best characters in the show!

What an ending!
roeelo3 March 2022
The whole episode was good, even touchy.

But the ending, oh wow! Couldn't believe this scene, I thought it can go to so many directions, I just love the way they took it.

I was completely focused on it. Looking forward to the next episode already.

Lucifer is a good show but bad episode.
Ravelund14 September 2021
So Lucifer is usually a lighthearted show. Trying to tacle big political questions did not work.

This episode is the worst in the series.

Kind of taking a dump on previous seasons here by showrunners
detlic16 September 2021
In all previous seasons we see cop show, partly, and now cops are bad... Another episode where almost nothing happens until the very end, so 90% of time in this episode is wasted on watching it. Only at the very ending does something actually happen that has smth to do with story line, but by this point I'm not sure if there even is a story... Still, more woke garbage shoved down our throats. And I really couldn't care about that, especially since I'm in Europe and American internal politics just doesn't interest me, especially in a show that should be entertainment. Further more, this show was saved thx to people from other continents watching it, so this is a massive dump on us as well... Really disappointing season so far, boring, uneventful, not the story or characters we started watching it for.

The Devil doesn't do "woke" well (then again no one does)
niels-113301 October 2021
Season was off to a great start, but doubling down on the BLM subplot and having Adam give a speech about "toxic masculinity" is really killing this show.

idankatzika12 September 2021
This episode is proof that toxic femininity exists and it's whole essance is putting men down in Petty revenge.

So bad that it's funny
saifadnankhan-4532212 September 2021
Never thought I'd say this but this is one of the worst episode which is ruined completely by political agenda. The toxic masculinity part is so bad you will find it cringy. Maze+ eve story was actually quiet good I don't know wyy tehy had to do this and butcher the story.

Worst episode so far...
shredrik15 September 2021
Whiny bullcrap interspersed with wokeness and lazy writing. Almost unbearable to watch. I'm not even exaggerating. I like the show and most of the characters, but this episode was a new low for sure. Just horrible.

worst episode so far
pytlar8 November 2022
I have no idea why they changed the tone so much. Instead of fun, light police drama we had some 50+ minutes of talking heads. And talking about some unimportant for me, american social issues. I got it, white males are bad. Girls are strong.

And police is bad too, strange no one noticed it sooner, in the previous 5 seasons of police drama show.

Addition of new character is so bad, she is soo annoying, behave like some 15 years old, not instead of fully grown up women. This is not even realistic, it could be maybe acceptable if she would be portrayed as 15.

I expected better farewell to the show, not something like this.

About Adam
succubusslayer11 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Bringing hot social and political issues into a very lighthearted show ends up doing neither the show nor public debate around the issues any favors. I like that we finally get to meet Adam, but his character becomes a plot device, laughing stock and talking head for social issues rather an actual character. All characters in this series are flawed, but I would like to see Adam's reasons for believing what he believes along with how Linda suddenly made him want to be a better person. He is the oldest man which means he'd probably have arch-conservative views, but he's also lived very long, and his views are likely to be well-rooted and backed by a lot of experience and instruction from God regardless of how wrong they are. He and Eve have also been together for how many years? Thousands? Him being a douche is believable, but he would probably know Eve way better than he does, and know how to push her buttons to make her come back and remember good parts of their time together. He seems to take her for granted, which makes sense, but that's about the extent of his consistency. Lucifer's life about demons having "white supremacists to torture" would go straight over my head if this weren't an episode that also threw out the term "toxic masculinity" without offering a satisfying explanation about where it comes from and how it can be changed. It would work better if he said something like "murderers with abandonement issues" referring back to one of the characters he helped escape his hell loop but empathizing with him. The show suggests Adam just "is that way" but simultaneously can be changed in one short therapy session. I get that Linda is supposed to be a great therapist - and she is - but that's just all the more reason why that scene of her changing his mind needs to be there. Developing empathy has been a large topic of this season and using simple social terms to refer to "the bad guys" with no explanation other than "they just are that way" suggests that you get to cherry-pick who is deserving of it, and flies in the face of the whole "to be God I have to be able to empathize with anyone" theme.

I know that this is a huge wall of text, but a lot of shows keep getting these things wrong and until this trend changes, this still needs to be said. I liked the rest of the episode and it was still nice because it was an episode of my favorite show, but bad writing on some parts made it the worst episode in the series.

Forget about the gender politics, it was just a bad episode which didn't move the narrative on. I get the feeling the writers just don't know how to end it. Shark well and truly jumped.

konstantinos23112 December 2021
Toxic masculinity and white supremacy. Really? In a series like lucifer? But then again netflix made it so it makes sense.oh and dont forget to redicule the first man by making him the biggest cucklord of all times. I was suspecting was smelling bad the moment they made rory lesbian but thats to much. Netflix ruined lucifer.

Why?
Johan_15 November 2021
It's a great episode if you pay browse your phone or do something else during certain parts. I just don't understand why they feel the need to politicise a great series like this.

It's the second episode in a row where it feels they're putting the main story to the side in order to aliante the police.

The whole wedding drama tries to be emotional but falls extremely short, honestly this whole melodrama aspect of the season has been making me roll my eyes and it's a shame compared to the mythology part of the show.

WOKE

Used to be a great show. Now it is dwindling to woke nonsense. I wish the whining daughter would just go away. Making the last three episodes almost impossible to watch.

Boring for the last season
sarahm1729 May 2022
So far this is the worst episode and this season isn't great. Not for the last season. I don't know what I expected but it wasn't this. Should've been bigger and better. It's boring as hell. Although there's been some good moments. Mostly because of Dan and Amenadiel. And they are the only storyline I've enjoyed this season.. And possibly Ella but they don't give her enough screen time.

The whole Aurora storyline seems familiar. And I didn't like it when I saw it then. Too dragged out and slow. She's had some moments but it's just not interesting.

Yawn...
m-478262 January 2022
I was actually looking forward to more Maze and Eve. But they had to ruin this as well, with another big spoon of woke cringe. And Lucifer's whiny daughter, wailing for a change... Couldn't they pick a more attractive actor to play Adam, or was it also part of his character's assassination? And what's with Ella's random freak out? Will they pull a Mary Magdalene on her now? Thank god there's only three episodes left...
