Like its predecessor in this evidently popular series, James Avalon's STUDENT BODIES 2 is long on pseudo-teen sex and short on story. Even with the great man (JA) himself acting in the piece (with Matt Holder holding the camera for him), it goes nowhere.
An attempt to introduce a modicum of conflict and suspense this time around actually makes Part 2 worse than the initial entry, due to a stupid, unsatisfying "amoral" ending. Just like a recent theatrical clunker I had the misfortune of attending, EVERY SECRET THING, Avalon thought it would be cute to end with an "evil triumphs" finish, pure b.s.
Sex scenes are okay, so I guess SB 2 will service an undiscriminating porn audience. Premise is that poor student Carter Cruise envies Miss Straight-As Casey Calvert, and even is horny for CC's boyfriend, miscast Chad Alva (whose shoulder length hair and florid tattoos fit his real personality as revealed in the BTS interview bonus on the DVD, but clash with the preppies in uniforms characters). All the girls wear navy blue knee socks and keep them on scrupulously during sex, a hint as to the true purpose of this porn exercise.
Sure enough, Carter causes trouble, besting Casey unconvincingly (for me at least) in a battle of scheming, to get Casey to improbably tell her that she humped all her teachers for good grades. With this admonition duly recorded and posted on-line, Casey gets suspended, her accused prof Evan Stone loses his job (due to a real, proved earlier impropriety after the dean played by Avalon in a non-sex role (natch) reads him the riot act), and feature ends with Carter happily ever after humping Chad.
En route to this dumb finish is a better sequence where cute blonde Katherina Kay is humped by a surprisingly slicked up Xander Corvus. He has his hair grown back (after frequent buzz cut appearances) and no sign of his goth lower lip piercings, and fits the preppy look quite well. Kelly Diamond appears only in flashback as Evan's willing young "hump across the classroom desk" paramour.
