Diverts away from previous narration at the end of the last episode but still a good episode. Excellent storytelling as per usual as the different parties are all cut together. Ending gives us hope for Diane and Mr Peanutbutter's inevitably getting back together.

If every "normal" episode was like this...

Let's just say that if every normal episode ("normal" being an episode that isn't the infamous episode 11, a season finale or an experimental artistic expression like "Free Churro" or "Fish Out of Water") was this engaging, funny, dynamic and emotional, BoJack Horseman would definitely be my favorite sitcom.

Fun little backstory filled episode

I really enjoyed this episode, you get to see how characters grew and developed over time. One of the more easy and enjoyable episodes I've watched. Even as you realize how Mr. Peanutbutter struggling to be a dynamic character effects all of his past and current girlfriends / wives, the overall style of the episode is constantly entertaining and funny. One of my favorite scenes of the whole show is the first time when Bojack and Diane meet, Bojack is the only one who recognizes Dianes costume which sets the tone for a hearfelt moment, but the rude self-centered side of him takes over anyways, and he completely forgets that moment. I also just love how the annual Halloween party at Bojacks house happened, a great joke to throw in the history of all the characters.
